Fishing For A Thought « Thread Started on Feb 8, 2007, 1:30pm »
StoneHeart dipped her paw in and the fish all swam away. She wasn't trying to catch them but thinking for a thought. She had always gone out hunting a came back with prey. She still couldn't get the thought of the kit being carried away by the Hawk. She was such a bad kit! I she obeyed they would have lived but of course she always had to mess up. She dipped her paw deeper in. 'Dang it! I can't stop thinking of the flea-bitten dream!' she thought to herself. StoneHeart stood up and scented the air. Her ears pricked thinking she heard a noise. 'Great now I'm hearing things! What next! I'm gonna loose my eye-sight.' At the thought of that StoneHeart closed her eyes and nearly fell into the Water. She stood back up and whipped her paw out of the water and drew it over her left ear.

Rockpelt came out of the reeds, shaking her head to open up her folded ears some more. Today was a good day for her hearing, as compared to other days where she couldn't hear a t'all. She trotted up to Stoneheart, her short legs getting her there fast, the dried rushes crackling underneath her paws. The grey she-cat sat down beside the warrior and smiled. "How are you, Stoneheart?" she mewed conversationally.

Melodystar looked at her two clan members. They were both excellent warriors and it was very hard to choose only one for deputy. She had ended up with Rockpelt though, and she hoped Rockpelt would stay loyal, and powerful, along with organized. "How are you doing?" She asked. Stonepelt looked wet, and also looked as if something was troubling him. He hadn't caught anything, and that worried her even more, "Is there something you wish to discuss, Stonepelt?", she asked sweetly, not giving away her agonizing curiousity.

Rockpelt turned to look at Melodystar and smiled. She had faintly heard her come up. Sometimes she hated her hearing, but other times she was blessed by it. She couldn't hear cats saying things about her that were bad--she would've ignored them anyways, she knew--but she also missed the important things and had to be told several times. "hello, Melodystar," she meowed.

ic: Stoneheart looked at the two who just arrived. "Hello, MelodyStar and Rockpelt." she meowed. She stood up and looked at Melodystar. "Oh, i was just thinking. It's nothing really." Stoneheart shrugged and tried to change the subject. "It's a nice day today ,eh?" Stoneheart dug her claws into the ground and out. She looked back into the water. Then towards the others.
