Name: Huskypaw
Gender: Male
Clan: Riverclan
Age in Moons: 7
Position: apprentice
Description: Huskypaw has a soft, medium length, snow-white pelt that is part way covered in a grayish tint. His body has all the markings of a Siberian Husky, and he is as bulky as one too. His gray fur stretches along his back and down his sides until it gets to his stomach. His stomach is white. Gray fur runs down his forehead and along his legs. When it gets to his eyebrows, it stops, and runs down between his muzzle in a narrow line. A third the way down his legs, the gray stops too, and then the rest of his fur is snowy white. His tail has gray all over the top, but the bottom is white. He has darker gray eyebrows, and a black heart shaped nose. Unlike any of his parents, he is quite bulky, almost like a husky puppy. He has thick legs, and monstrous paws with claws that fit in size. His teeth are pearly white, and he has a few snaggleteeth that stick out in odd disarrays. Huskypaw’s eye is icy blue, almost like the pools of a glacier. His eye also has a darker blue rim. Huskypaw has soft large ears that stick straight up, and are lined on the edges with a darker gray then the gray that is on he outside of them.
Personality: Huskypaw is a precocious cat. He tries really hard to please his parents, and loves to be funny. Huskypaw can sometimes be a little head strong, a little blunt, and Huskypaw never tells a lie. Of course, his honesty can sometimes get him in a nasty shot, so usually Huskypaw just stays quiet. Unlike the rest of his litter, he’s not adventurous, or overly playful. Moreover, Huskypaw can be a very cautious cat, he never tries to make anyone feel upset or to hurt someone’s feelings, but if they don’t like the truth, that’s their problem. One of Huskypaw’s hates is when others treat him different because he is sometimes forgetfu. His worst hatred is the summer. Because Huskypaw has a thick pelt, summer is a bad season for him because he doesn’t shed his fur, so he always finds himself extremely hot. His favorite season is winter, when most cats freeze he stays warm. His worst fear is heights. Being a pretty heavy cat, he has a pretty bad sense of balance and depth perception. Huskypaw’s strength include being able to swim easily, never getting cold, being very open and friendly, always honest, and Huskypaw is an ambitious cat.
History: Across the tree barren hills, forest covred lands, sun scorched deserts, and sand covered beaches, a small kittypet housing edition sits in the frozen tundra. A man named Jake, and a woman named Jane live there. They have cats, and they have dogs, but sometimes their pets run away. Huskypaw's mother, Kiya, ran away when she was pregnant with him, and she took shelter in a cave. She gave birth to three kits, but the nights were cold, the days were tough, and danger lurked around every corner. At night wolves howled their hunger, and in the day lynxes and fox hunted down all the food they could. Each animal was in jeaopardy. It came to a point where it was impossible for Kiya to hunt for her kits, and one by one, their flames of lives went out. Soon only Huskypaw and his sister Clash remained, and then, she too, flcikered away. One day, Kiya decided to take initiative, and she traveled far and wide, even going where her two legs that found her took her. Finally, she was taken to a nice home outside a beautiful forest that seemed to promise wonderful things. It was then that she left Huskypaw, now only four moons, there. Wildcats could be scented, and she knew that no cat would hurt a kit. That was how Huskypaw came to be.
RP:
Dark clouds rolld through the sky, each it's own menacing dark threat. The sky was completely covered with them, no inkling of the sun or the sweet peaceful blue in sight. It was sunrise, but you could hardly tell, for no red rays graced the sky, and no dew covered the ground. Even if it did, you would only believe it was the dark fowl bitter rain that seemed to flow like endless tears into a broken heart. No animals dared leave their warm dens to step outside where water soaked you to the bone, and vicious winds could whip the fur right off your back.
Thunder roared throughout the lands, echoing from tree to tree, and lightning flashed, making it look like daytime for a split second, and then it would go dark again. Occasionally the sky would turn a ghastly green, holding the promise of danger and malice, other times it was a sweet purple, but even it had the oath of terror behind it's mask of silkiness. Little sheets of silver and black rain glanced off the surface of every object is sight, but only to fall to the ground and create little puddle that would amount up to large floods, creating havoc for the forest.
Nestled snugly in a den, Huskypaw watched fascinated at the raging torrents and flashing electricity. The growls of the clouds made him jump, and the rain pierced through his pelt like he was covered in dandelion fuzz. The fur across his shoulders was bristled up in fear and anticipation as he gazed at the swirling puffs of black concentrated smoke. Every time the lightning would strike, Huskypaw could hear the sounds of tree trunks being ripped mercilessly, and it would light up his face, making his pelt an eerie colour.
Every instinct screamed at him to go farther back into his den, but his curiosity was winning over, making Huskypaw long to be out in the eye of the storm, and to stare it down with a challenge. He knew he would be in more trouble than a mouse caught in between the jaws of a cat, but he just couldn't deny the fact that if he didn't go, he would forever wish he had. Huskypaw took one look across at his father, Demonheart. He absolutely loathed him, and he knew Demonheart would be very upset if he went out there. That was enough to make him go, no amount of fear could make him stop. Precariously, he slipped out of the den.
The cold rain was worse than ever as it pelted him like rocks falling from the sky. A closer look made him realize that was exactly the case. Little rocks of frozen rain seemed to propel themselves from the clouds, as if they were at war with him. Huskypaw shook himself, sneezing a few times before continuing onward. He quietly went outside the main entrance to the camp, relieved no one had found him. The winds were horrid. Inside his den Huskypaw had no idea of their power until he was out there in it, even the trees swayed with their wrath. The crashing winds were turning Huskypaw into their toy as he was pushed and pulled along, as if he were in the rapids of a waterfall.
Still, he went forward, trying to get to the exact point where the clouds swirled overhead, the storm brewing with a potent enemy of the forest. Huskypaw felt energized as the rain seemed to ease up, and the winds stopped. He didn't know that the storm always strikes after the calm. He began to yowl up towards the sky, gloating over his victory. Huskypaw had faced the storm, and he had won. The clouds no longer attacked him with their rain, and the wind no longer bracketed against him. Then his heart sank. A vicious spinning vortex seemed to fall from the clouds, crashing into everything, and wiping out everything in it's path. Fear crawled all along his spine, and for a moment, he was paralyzed.
Huskypaw jumped to his paws, running faster than he had ever run in his life. The storm was coming to get him! His paws pounded over the ground again and again, his heart beating in his ears. Huskypaw's energy was running out, and he started slowing, his adrenaline about used up. He felt himself about fall down in defeat, but then he spotted an old fox den, and he silently sent thanks to the cats in the stars. They had come to save him! Huskypaw crashed down into the den, and waited, fear overwhelming him as he heard the crashes of disaster and destruction above him.
Finally, when he emerged, the sun had finally risen, and everything seemed back to normal. Disappointed, he shakily headed back towards his camp. Huskypaw was angry at himself for surrendering to the vicious storm, but thankful he was going to be returning to camp alive. Searching the skies, Huskypaw wondered if they would come back. Everything seemed normal, and even the rain had calmed to a sweet tasting drizzle. When he got to the outside of camp, he looked up one last time, and his heart stopped altogether. A rainbow had appeared, and it casted it multicolored glow upon him. Grinning, Huskypaw went back to his den, not caring what punishment he might receive. [/glow]
