//Private, Oakpaw and Parishingsoul only.// Parshingsoul walked onto the sunny border onto the top of the hill. The shallow stream reflecteed the bright sun, making the clear water glisten in the rays of yellow light. The ginger cat with peircing green eyes squinted a small bit until he finally became accustomed to the bright light. The warmth mazed through his pelt, and he sighed as it backed into his skin. Parishingsoul looked for the apprentice that was supposed to be following him. [/i][/center]

[glow=green,2,300]Oakpaw ran as fast as he could towards his leader. He was panting by the time he reached the top of the hill. The fierce sun beat down at him until he turned away from it's glare, his back warming as the suns rays bounced of him again and again. "What do you want to talk to me about?" He asked looking up at his leader with happy glowing eyes. [/glow]

Prishingsoul looked at the small apprentice, smiling a wide smile. He hoped that they wouldn't run into WindClan patrol. Most cats were more thought ShadowClan was a evil clan, and couldn't trust them. Many patrols that they ran into accused them of many untrue things.
But Parishingsoul craved for the sun. He loved feeling the rays sun his back, the warmth creep into his spine and the sun sweeping light across the wide open area. He did also love the stream, and the rays bouncing off of the clear surface of the water.
Turning back to the small and olive -eyed apprentice, he spoke in a deep voice looking back, turning his attention to the stream. "You need mentoring." Parshingsoul started with a sigh after he spoke in his deep voice. "You are way old enough, and you need to start training." Finally the spotted leader turned gracefully back over to Oakpaw, casting a four -legged shadow over his body, blocking the sun's rays. "I think you deserve a good mentor, and I think I can provide that for you." His amber fur glistened even redder, unlike it would in the shadows of the mrash. His last sentence gave a hint to the apprentice. "I would appreciate your acceptance and improval for me to become your mentor if you shall accept it." Parshingsoul liked Oakpaw, he thought he would make a excellent apprentice, and even loyaler warrior.

[glow=green,2,300]"You want to mentor me!" Oakpaw squealed, "Really, that would be amazing!" A huge grin lit up his face and his eyes glowed with happiness. "When can we start?" He asked. Parishingsoul wants to mentor me!! He thought ecstatically. I will be the best apprentice ever! [/glow]

Parishingsoul smiled at the anxious apprentice. He got a good look at him finally. The apprentice looked sort of... rugged, earthy. His eyes were big, kind, and gentle olive green with rounded pupils. His tail was shaggy and uneven, and his ears were big.
"Tommorrow, we shall start. Tonight, as the sky turns black, we shall have your cermony.... maybe even as soon as we get back we can have it." His smile turned into a mystefied expression as he took a long and hard glance at the setting sun. There was still one more thing that he wished to talk to the apprentice about, but he decided to wait... until empty ShadowClan was active again. [/i][/center]

[glow=green,2,300]Oakpaw smiled up at Parishingsoul. He was sooooo excited! A single sentence went round and round his head, I'm going to be an apprentice and Parishingsoul is going to mentor me!! I must be the luckiest cat alive! His face twistwed into a cheeky grin, "Race you back to camp!" He mewed happily. He knew he wouldn't win, but he enjoyed the challenge and it would be good practise for the future![/glow]

//My deputy left the site! It stinks cause now I have ta find a new one!// The ginger warrior (leader) of ShadowClan smiled stiifly. He wasn't up for the run, but he would give the satisfaction of a race. "Ok... I'll count it out." He said tensing his muscles getting ready for his count down, preparing to spring into a full sprint. It wasn't a long ways back to camp, maybe half a mile. It would be a simple to beat the apprentice, but he figured that it would be easy to beat the apprentice, but he would give him satsifaction of it being a close call. "One... two... and..." He began his countdown to three, "THREE!" He was off. [/i][/center]

[glow=green,2,300]Oakpaw started to run, he liked the feeling of his legs beneath him so he ran his fastest. He would regret this later but he was enjoying it at that moment so he kept going as fast as his little legs could carry him. The wind rushed past him ruffling his pelt and chilling him to the bones.
